Guess that cactus - game

Post by Loph »

Thought it may be fun to play a guessing game. not for prizes, just for hoots.

I will post a picture every week and guess what it is. mot will be closeups, just parts. A hint, these are not true to type plants, many are "mutants" :) should make things a little more challenging for the brainiacs around here that know way too much for their own good (thats aimed at you )

guess the species, and try to guess the variety/form/cultivar/________ etc.

first one is easy.

That's what I was thinking, but I haven't seen a pink form of either of those.

I will give you a hint. its not Echinopsis (or Trichocereus), Cereus or Myrtillocactus. but your on the right track, it is columnar.

Must be pruinosus then.

Those haven't come up much lately like they used to.
