Extreme Cutting Session!

Post by Scottyzx12 »

Hello all, yesterday I managed to do the mass clearing of the oldest cactus in my house.

After finishing the clearing i was left with two large cacti.

The result of the clearance was approiximately 60 cuttings which i had to deal with. 3/4 of them I threw in the compost heap, which i found scattered around the garden the next day,a plaything for the birds. Im thinking of selling some of the cuttings in a carboot sale but I have heard that there are some rules against selling plants, is this true?
Here are some of the cuttings, potted up in their new homes.

I've never heard this. I see them all the time at car boot sales and local fairs. We sell them at our annual show also.

I dont know the laws in the UK but here in Arizona they are pretty strict on enforcing the laws of restricted plants... Basically its supposed to make it harder for you to go out in the desert and rip out a bunch of plants and then sell them.
Here's to you, all you insidious creatures of green..er I mean cacti.
