I bought a couple of these at a dollar sale and I have no idea what they are-

you could write what i know about succulents on a postage stamp in big letters :lol: but that flower has to be some kind of stapeliad

The nearest I can think is Huernia piersii, but I am not sure.

This one looks to be a pretty good match. Huernia thuretii ssp. thuretii.

Martin's picture doesn't quite agree, but it is probably a matter of the ssp.

Thanks so much for the ID! I wish I could look through all the pictures on that site but I have dial-up so it would take hours.
Now if only the rest of my unknown stapeliads would bloom...
