Its been very wet the last few days and during these periods I look for slugs in the garden. Instead this is what I found last night at 10pm Image

Nearly dropped the flashlight coming across that. I guess he's just passing through maybe using the weather to leave someones backyard pond? No ponds at all near me. I just hope he didn't eat the toad I've been seeing around #-o

:o Cool! Thats much better than finding slugs.
I have seen the bullfrog I have nowhere near its home pond, but only on rainy mornings like that.
Maybe its its a young frog looking for new territory.

Clone 1 of O. humifusa still hasn't bloomed yet but it does have like 150 or more buds so if it ever does... Two other plants had their flowers completely wasted due to a stretch of bad weather, I don't want to talk about it

Awesome stuff, really great work Andy! Excellent pics too! :)

humifusa x fragilis is a stand out as well as the "different" missouriensis.

They look great. Perhaps a tad later with the rain and cloudy skies this year?

Opuntia flowers make the glochids worth it. Nice!

Later than last year that's for sure. I bet this year was extremely close to average on flowering dates.

Everything's looking great! I guess you've warmed up and dried out down there. Nice variety of colors.
Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!
