It has always amused me that the "Horse Crippler" has such delicate pink frilly blooms. With a common name like that you'd expect giant razor edged things with blood red edges and accessory barbed spines on the anthers.

Well, I would anyway...

Nice blooms. I'm hoping my E. texensis will bloom for the first time this year.
