Has anyone bought from here before? What are the seeds like? Are they fresh?

Well i went ahead an bought some anyway. They came all the way from the Netherlands.
That aside, and the expense for shipping them. So far I have about 60 % germination rate after 2 weeks! I am really impressed so far, and will buy from there again.
Much better than my other seeds I bought off ebay which turned out to be rather dissapointing.
Hmm that reminds me, I keep meaning to take some more pictures for my seedling post!

The best I've ever tried. Specialises in South American cacti, but there's other stuff too.hob wrote:Mats Winberg will send seeds to the UK and you can pay for them with UK paper money as well as other payment types

A close second with an even larger selection is Mesa Garden, especially good for North American cacti and mesembs. Shipping of seeds to the UK is no problem except for CITES I species which need an extra permit.

It is perfectly legal to import ornamental seed for sowing. There are some phytosanitary restrictions on some vegetable seed. CITES restrictions on seed only apply to CITES I species and these are marked on the Mesa Garden website. It is up to you whether to pay for the permit for those or not.
I keep my orders under eighteen pounds to avoid the risk of getting charged VAT. There is no duty on amounts that small.
