Hi all,
I want to show you my first partial (tentacle) graft of A. caput-medusae. I grafted the little piece on A. ornatum.

ok, that looks good! I'm wondering.. did you just put that piece on it's side and let it root unto the stock?
or were there roots in the middle of it?

Thanks!

@Christer, ornatum is not a real fast grower, but very resistent and produce very fast offsets.

@Strukto, the piece is a half tentacle (vertical cut). No roots there.

In the next season, I'll try other stocks..

You don't see. Astrophytum used as a stock very often. What was the reason you chose this Alex? The close relation? Just experiment? You had too many of them?
