Growth Habits: Clustering, stems up to 4 inches tall (10 cm), 2.5 inches in diameter (6 cm)

Scientific name: Echinopsis aurea var. dobeana.

Common names: Red Easter Lily Cactus.

Synonym: Lobivia aurea var. dobeana, Lobivia dobeana

Etymology: From the Greek echinos sea urchin opsis appearance.
aurea :- golden flowered
dobeana :- unknown

Origin: Jujuy, Salta - Argentina.

Light: Full sun to light shade.

Compost: Standard cactus mix.

Water: Regular from spring to autumn allow soil to dry between waterings, dry in winter.

Flower: Red.

Min temp: Not thought to be frost hardy.

Comments. The name Echinopsis aurea suggests a yellow flowered Echinopsis,
var. dobeana however has red flowers.
