2011 CSSA Show & Sale

The 2011 version of the "best sale anywhere" will be on July 1, 2 and 3 at the Huntington Library in Arcadia, California. The show will happen on Saturday and Sunday, July 2 & 3. This is annually the largest C&S Sale in the US and the show is really terrific. Anyone who is a member of CSSA or one of their affiliated clubs is invited to participate in the show. Plants may be entered on Thursday from 12:00 noon till 6:00 and on Friday from 10:30 till 4:30. There is NO admission charge to visit the CSSA Show and Sale.

It's probably obvious to just about everyone, but for new folks, I'll add that Buck meant that the Huntington is at 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino, CA 91108, next to Pasadena, as he himself wrote in a different thread. I plan to be there!

(Intercity show & sale is at the L.A. Arboretum in Arcadia, CA, so it's easy to think one and write the other, especially for a man with as many irons in the fire as Buck Hemenway.)

I made this show every year when I lived out there. I hear it is going to be pretty hot so I suppose the cactus conservatory will be closed.

Check for flowers on the big Polaskia out in the grounds at this time of year.
