Very nice pictures! By the way, the lizard in Karla's picture is Anolis carolinensis, but I didn't know it houses in Texas too.

WOW :shock: Those are GREAT pictures!
It is going to be very hard to choose a winner. I like all in different ways. The one with the ant formation is really amazing and makes me remember the Uncle Milton Ant Farm I use to have as a child.

My Kodak camera is so primitive that in order to get macro pictures I have to use one external close up lens and hold it with my hand in front of my camera lens!

Hello Michiel,
when I used to live in Brownsville, Texas near the Gulf of Mexico, the most common lizard was the green anole, which looks very much like the green lizard pictured on the cactus.

I thought it only lived in Carolina. My couple Anolis carolinensis is breeding as we speak. Here are some old pictures (they were quite shy when I first bought them).

It's also interesting to know they can change between brown and green in a matter of minutes, depending on mood, temperature and surroundings.
