Is there a way to post photos directly from my iPhone?

Look on your app store for a photo resizer app (there should be plenty of them). Resize your photos to 800×600 and you should be all good. Some apps have batch resize capibilities.

I keep seeing images that are at horizontal(make the plants photographed going sideways) and users complaining about size
The simplest and effective solutions is
Whatever system you use , a photo editor is used by default on every device,.
With this you can either resize your photo(make it less than 500kb so its upload worthy), crop it(i prefer no to take photos of my walls and furniture), rotate it...etc etc.
I use paint for this, know there is a similar tool on linux systems.
So please dont make me bend my head sideways when i look at bug/id requests.

Nope. Safari is the default web browsing app for mac operating systems. DuckDuckgo is an internet search engine.
It like this
Safari=mozzilla=google chrome=internet explorer. web browsers
Duckduckgo=bing=google=yahoo. Search engines
macOS=windows=linux operating systems
And yeah if you have the word MAC in your apps, you are using apple products with their own operating systems.
And yeah i had to do programing and informathics classes because i study these things at faculty.

No, stefan m. has it right, DuckDuckGo and Yahoo are search engines, as are Google and Microsoft's Bing.

A browser enables you to connect to Web sites, but you need an address or a link. A search engine operates within a browser, lets you find sites by subject.

Safari is a built in part of High Sierra. It cannot be deleted. It is therefore a part of the operating system. High Sierra has multiple built-in applications that cannot be deleted. I will no longer use this forum and will search my previous posts and delete them.

On the new forum here, the mechanism for adding images is different that the previous version. Since we haven't got a "how-to", I thought I'd add that now with some screen-shots to show how to do it.

Step 1: When you reply to a post or start a new topic, look down below the "Preview" and "Submit" buttons for the "Upload Attachment" button, circled here:

pic_attachment_new.jpg

Step 2: Click the "Browse" button to locate the file on your computer. Select the file and click "Open". After this, the path will show in the text box to the left of the "Browse" button. Make sure you click "Add the file" or the image will not be added.

pic_attachment_new2.jpg

Step 3: For the cleanest display in your post, click on the button "Place inline". The code will be automatically inserted into your post and you can type before or after the image. This image shows the "Place Inline" button and the code for the image in the post:

pic_attachment_new3.jpg

Repeat these steps for each image.

NOTE: The forum will resize images to 800 pixels when you upload. This will reduce the dimensions of larger images as well as the file size. However, if your camera takes really large images, (such as 4320 x 3240 14MB), these images will need to be reduced on you computer before you can upload them. Most people will already have a program that can do this, such as "Microsoft Office Picture Manager", "Picasa", or software that came with the camera. In addition, there are free utilities on the web that can do this such as "Infanview" http://www.irfanview.com/ which many have used with ease and success.

Feel free to post questions here and/or experiment with uploading pictures in this post.
