Walking Sansevieria

My Walking Sansevieria got a pup that tried to escape so I layered it in a gallon pot. It's now grown to about a third the size of the Momma. Do you think it's safe now to cut the umbilical and pot it up for good? I would like to seperate them before winter.

Great looking plant Franj. Not for sure but with a pup that size I would think it's time to wean it from it's mother.
