Well the cactus garden (rock garden) is growing and looking better thanks to ideas I've picked up on this board and cactus I've acquired from members of this board.
I now have 2 yuccas adding character to the garden- I saved them from being mowed down in a vacant lot . Thus far in the garden there is a whole bunch of Opuntia cymochila, 2 starts of Opuntia macrorhiza, 2 Escobaria vivipara var. vivipara and 2 Yucca filamentosa (?) and 1 Cylindropuntia imbricata.
Soon to be added is starts of Opuntia violacea var. santa rita, Opuntia macrocentra and Cylindropuntia bigelovii
Here's a couple pics:

Garden is growing
Nice job there, Bill! I wish mine could get that nice!
Oh, be forewarned that your teddy-bears might not do as well as you might expect: they thrive in the heat and I wonder if they can take the winters in KC.
Here are my latest entries in the Garden is Growing/Blooming topic, all photos taken 20-21 May 2005 except as noted:

Garden Looking Good
Way to go Bill,
Plants are looking good. They should give the cats something to think about.
You don't spend all your time rock crawling in that beast of yours then.
Cheers
John
