Echinopsis in bloom

Post by Joel143 »

These are some of my echinopsis that I have. These are the first to bloom so far this year. The rest are just in bud. They remain outside year round even though they are in pots. Enjoy...sorry for the poor pics. The first one I had to hold up the flower...it must of been so heavy that its broke and was hanging.

Awesome flowers, Joel. I love echinopsis. I have quite a few myself and last week I had ten of them bloom in one day. Hard to beat them for spectacular color.

Fab colors!

Your well kept (clean and unweedy) pots do not distract the eye, but only compliment the scene.

Another three in bloom. The yellow is a echinopsis, the red a trichocereus and the third is a NOTOCACTUS WARASII.

Good stuff - they sure don't seem to mind being outside - rather they seem to love it!

Even if your Tricho's don't do great -- which I suspect they will -- you've certainly found plenty of plants that do very well! Love that yellow Echinopsis blossom -- so "rich"!
