Anyone wanna try a ROUND ROBIN?

Post by apfire »

I saw a few post on the subject, but no one made any moves. It would work like this: http://www.epiforums.com/showthread.php ... ound+robin" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . I would be happy to start things off. basically I would put some plants into a box and sent it on the next person on the list. They would take out what they want put the same number of items they took out, and forward it to the next person an the list. This would continue until it got back to the person that started the whole thing. We could track the package in this or another thread. Anyway I have an assortment of cacti and epis I could send. Lets do this. it will be fun!!! :D

I like the mystery box trade idea a bit better because of shipping around live plant material. I would hate something to be in there for too long. Also it allows people to match up with their own kinds. You have the 2 cactus parties the Opuntiads vs the other guys. Like the republicans and democrats or Nikon users and Canon users. If someone has the similar interest that I do then I would do a mystery box trade with them. Seed material I would round robin.

The round robin Idea worked very well with epiphilliums. They are very delicate. There was even one done for Hoyas. I do not think live plants in a box wrapped in newspaper would have a problem as long as the weather is not freezing.

I can send a box of some spare cacti I have. I do not want anything in return except maybe shipping if it is on the expensive side.

I figure I'll let this run until Monday August 6 ,2012, then I'll put the box in the mail Friday. I'll send it to the first person Minime8484. I'll Pm. for a mailing address and when they finish they contact the next person. This can continue until.. Also each person can post when they get the package and when they send it out.
