Hey there guys i was given some succulent plant by my father and will identify it later and i bought a euphorbia horrida its not got very healthy roots and look very unhappy i only have experience growing cacti so i would be very great full if you guys would give me tips on gorwing succulents like the watering is it basically the same as cacti as they are both quite similar?

Hi, in most cases succulents can be treated exactly the same as the true cacti. After all, they are all succulent plants. Euphorbia horrida can certainly be treated the same as a cacti. In England you should be starting to ease back on the watering now.

Do your best to get names for them. Many succulents are described as "winter growers" and can need slightly different treatment from cacti.
