Cylindropuntia fulgida mammillata

Post by Peterthecactusguy »

Does anyone grow these? I have the crested one, but I have yet to actually see the uncrested kind anywhere for sale or trade or anything. Money is always tight, but if someone has one maybe we could trade or something.

I have a bunch of cuttings from mine, however I can't guarantee it won't crest. Many of mine aren't cresting, but as they grow some start a bit of a crest. If your interested I would be happy to send you one that isn't cresting! (Atleast not cresting at the moment)

Yes, that is what they are. However, over time some have "re-reverted" back to cresting.

sounds like they are Re-verting back to cresting like mentioned. I have a few that don't look like they are crested but they will be in a year or two.
