Cylindropuntia fulgida mammillata
Does anyone grow these? I have the crested one, but I have yet to actually see the uncrested kind anywhere for sale or trade or anything. Money is always tight, but if someone has one maybe we could trade or something.
Here's to you, all you insidious creatures of green..er I mean cacti.

I have a bunch of cuttings from mine, however I can't guarantee it won't crest. Many of mine aren't cresting, but as they grow some start a bit of a crest. If your interested I would be happy to send you one that isn't cresting! (Atleast not cresting at the moment)

That sounds like uncrested reverts to me.

Yes, that is what they are. However, over time some have "re-reverted" back to cresting.martenfisher wrote:That sounds like uncrested reverts to me.

sounds like they are Re-verting back to cresting like mentioned. I have a few that don't look like they are crested but they will be in a year or two.
