Cereus giganteus wanted in Germany

Post by madkactus »

I've been wanting to add this cactus to my collection for many years now and I've never seen one at a nusery or even seeds offered. If anyone has a small Saguaro or some seeds to sell I'm interested. The seller should be based in Germany.

I can easily get seeds here in AZ, but I dunno about sending them to Germany. Postal regulations are easy in the US, but shipping to Germany I dont know. I sent some pads to the Netherlands but fine, but I dont know about Germany.
Here's to you, all you insidious creatures of green..er I mean cacti.

Seed is no problem. You can allways hide them in the regular letter.

Hi Peter !
I suppose we can try the seed approach. I don't think that will be a problem. If German customs opens the letter they can see it's only seeds.
thanks ! 8)

Seeds or seedling plants of Saguaro (Carnegia gigantea) shouldn't be any problem to get in EU from a number of sources.
succseed.com or wermlanddesertplants.se are just examples from Sweden
kakteen-haage.de is another example.
