Some Discocactus, Melocactus, etc.
Mark, you know from the small plants that I sent you, even though they are 18 months old, that it takes lots of TLC to get plants to a large, blooming size.
The cactus that I got from Miles must have been three years old at least, and paying 4-6 bucks for them is VERY little for what it cost to get them to that size.
Sorry, but I couldn't do it. It's just too easy to make money without that effort. But I plan on ordering cactus from him again, as long as he's willing to keep in business.

So I will give the short on MY order and these points have been brought to Mr Smoley's attention with no response
1.Got my first order after a 10 week wait.
2.Did not get the 3of4 Aztekium's he said were in stock when I placed my order.(now on B/O)
3.Sent 6 C.dura instead of 6 C.cinerea
(and I marked no sub's on the order)
4.VERY small plant's,of poor quality
5.Placed my second order on March 2nd...and still waiting.

Hi Tim- I met Miles at the San Diego Show and Sale a few years ago and he said he's got a system where he gets his plants to really zoom to the sizes he sells, mostly because of the Arizona climate, etc. But you're right even so, the investment is high when it comes to growing cacti of a respectable size.
