Nice! I just got some seed of A. caput-medusae. If I get good germination I'm seriously considering trying to graft some of them.
I'm now selling plants on Ebay. Check it out! Kyle's Plants

WOW! That's Awesome! I can't even count how many tubercles I've tried grafting and NONE of them will take! But after seeing that, I'm going to keep trying! Do you have a close up of the tubercle right as you grafted it?
How did you hold it on to the root stock? I'm guessing you sliced the scion on a slant and laid the slant across the cambium ring on the root stock. That's how it appears anyway.

I got a couple tubercles to take by using the superglue technique on harrisia, however they have not started growing yet after 6 months. Sometimes it takes years before the stock gives up on offsetting and the scion sprouts when the scion doesn't have an apical meristem.

Very nice. Are you grating them to get flowers fast, or just because you wanted to do it? They seem to grow just fine on their own tap root for me, just way less tubercles.

Either way, nice work!

Hi. How did you fix the tubercle with the stock? Please share your technique. I have one on ferrocactus. I want to give a try on hylocereus. Your plant is amazing.
