How to pollinate Cleistocactus winteri? Anyone?

Post by paulzie32 »

I've had a plant for several years and every year it produces several flowers. I've tried pollinating several times and can only assume it is not self fertile. Can anyone confirm this? If so, does anyone have pollen to share?

TIA

I have one that had 100's of flowers and no fruit. I have a smaller one and I hope it will start to flower next year.
