Re: :(Help:) Identification
Sclerocactus spinosior does form fruit, however I think their fruits are more elongated than the one on your plant. It does look like a Sclerocactus to me, though. Either a Sclerocactus, Glandulicactus or Ancistrocactus.CACTI1 wrote:No majcka Sclerocactus spinosior hasn't fruit.

Re: :(Help:) Identification
Not Sclerocactus. Hamatacactus hamatacanthus (Ferocactus hamatacanthus) definitely, without question.

Re: :(Help:) Identification
I don't think this is a fero, ferocactus hamatacanthus fruits color is green, yellow-green, or olive but this fruit color is different.

Re: :(Help:) Identification
Your plant is definitely, unequivocally, without question, certainly, absolutely, positively Ferocactus hamatacanthus. haha. End of story. Absolutely certain. No doubt or question.
Also, hamatacanthus fruit turns reddish brown or brown as it ripens.
Anyway, your plant is absolutely hamatacanthus. Definitely.
