Is there anything weird about growing a Coryphantha macromeris in a pot?
Thank you,

There are people who would saying growing any cactus in a pot is weird! But I'm not aware of anything special about this particular species.

I've had this plant in a pot for about 15 years since I purchased it from B&B Cactus Farms in Tucson.

Only things I discovered is that if you overwater it, it soon looks very bloated; it likes fresh air (doesn't do well in greenhouse); and it likes a bit of filtered shade here in So-Cal.

This is one of the few cactus that have not done well for me. Mine is Corypantha macromeris v macromeris. I got it from Miles. It has never grow any. This year, it split at a couple of spots down low and new growth emerged from the splits. Really weird. I posted here about it, but did not get any real conclusive info on it.
