Since my collection only includes 3 opuntiods (excluding grafting stock) here is an image taken at a CCCSS show.

I don't know the species or think it matters. Just a really odd individual plant from the collection of Charles Spotts, surely, the best opuntioid collection and collector in California.

I just call it "Bad hair day" Thanks to Jordi, I now know the taxon is O. sulphurea ... Thanks
