Browninga hertlingiana zone 9-a

Post by pokey1 »

Hi there... I will soon be in in possession of a 24 inch B. hertlingiana, grown in AZ. I live in zone 9 a-b, and would like to use it as a part of my first xeroscape. The soil here is just pure Florida sand, so I will need to make adjustments. Any specific suggestions would be really appreciated. THANKS! Joseph

Pokey - Surprised no answers. One of my favorites, but not cold-hard for here. Love columnars but lifespan or space not accomadating to 30''ers
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!
