Seed Offer

Post by Minime8484 »

After my first year's attempt at growing from seed, I've come to the following conclusions:
#1 - I like it!
#2 - I will continue to expand to try new species
#3 - I obtained WAY more seeds than I will ever really need! :D

I do know that many seeds may be of reduced viability the older they are, and I abhor the thought of them going to waste. So, to address the accumulation from #3 above, I've decided to make my extra seeds available to the group that has always been so generous with me for seeds and plants - members of this forum!

So, here is a list of seeds I have available for anyone (domestic only) that is interested. I offer them at no cost (not even shipping, as it should be very cheap for seeds) on a first-come-first-served basis (will be shipped in bubble mailers to protect the seeds). Some are extremely limited supply; others I have plenty.

Anyone interested just send me your list of the species you'd like in the order you would prefer to receive and your snail mail address via PRIVATE MESSAGE ONLY (don't post to this thread). After a few days or so, I will start filling requests as best I can to benefit as many people as possible. Of course, there is no guarantee you will receive all the species you request, but I will certainly try to please all!

Consider this a Pay It Forward to all on this list that have helped myself and others grow and learn more about this wonderful hobby!

Congratulations, Tristan! Another corollary to the growing axioms  -- have discovered the same! Would be interested in some M. grahamii, cuz they're CH. I have a batch of seedlings going, but would like to experiment with direct seed planting. I'll send PM of address. If there is anything -- besides Cleisto's you'd be interested in, ask...My focus is on CH stuff, but have other things, including lots of Melo. matanzus.
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!

Got a few takers, but still have plenty of seed left!

I'm going to go ahead and open this to anyone outside of the USA too...I've since sent seeds out of the country, and they have arrived fine, and it really isn't much more costly than within the US.

Here is what I still have available:
