Tis the season

Post by ihc6480 »

For snow and we're getting our first. Three inches on the ground and possibly eight inches before it's over.
I'm not fond of cold weather but I must confess snow makes things look nice and pretty.
Heres the old shack and of course my wifes candy canes.

Hi Bill

Very nice, now you can rightly say white Christmas! :D
Here we have the warmest November ever. Some days up to
68°F, last week up to 57°F, at night 41°F, today 51°F sunny.
The weather goes crazy! #-o

Best regards

Hi Peter,

The weather is crazy here also. Two days before this snow it was 72 degrees.

Well we ended up with 5" of snow but 30 miles south of me got from 11" to 18" of snow

Looks good are you supposed to get more? How cold is it over there? Did all of your plants get covered with the snow?

Bill,
Tell you wife, here decorations are nice. Does the snow usually hang on all winter there?

Another chance of snow around midweek and it's in the upper 20s in the day and low 10s at night. The snow covered all but my larger batches of opuntias.

Nope, about 2/3rds of it has already melted. Melts a little each day and freezes into ice at night :x

PS: the wife said thanks for the complimeant on her decor.

I sure do wish that it would snow here, i love the cold, but when i told my dad that all he said was: "My cactus would die" :D Then again without his cactus he would be very sad
