Anyone up for another contest??
I mentioned this at the end of the last contest, but I'll say again... I think we're ready for a "Holiday Cacti" contest. Traditionally that is Christmas Cactus (Schlumbergera x buckleyi), Thanksgiving Cactus (Schlumbergera truncata) and Spring or Easter Cactus (Hatiora x graeseri). However, I think we might include all Epi cacti as limiting it to just three might not get that many submissions, but I am open to suggestions.
What do you guys say?
Let's discuss this week. Whatever we've discussed by 12-16-2006 we'll go with and start the submissions. Then we'll end the submission period on Christmas Eve and Vote until New Years Eve.

Christer and Carl,
Sorry about that. This thread is for discussing the rules for the contest. We started doing this on the last few contests because I would always forget something and that would cause confusion.
So hold those great pictures until the end of the week. Then I'll start a new thread for the submissions.
Again sorry for the confusion. I pulled your pictures so that you can submit them after the contest starts.
So Buck agrees -all Epis. Sounds good to me. And of course flowers are going to be the focus as the stems usually aren't much to look at.
