I was there last year; the weather is incredible...never scorching and never cold...perfect for succulents...hope you enjoyed your trip.

I agree. In fact, I'm looking forward to retiring there in a few short years. Last time there I took a trip through higher elevations going to Puno and there were many different cacti growing in those areas. Unfortunataly, I wasn't able to get any good shots because the bus doesn't stop on long trips like years ago.
