brasiliopuntia brasiliensis (& Tuna) seeds wanted

Post by Tao »

brasiliopuntia brasiliensis
"makes up this genus is one of the largest cacti up to 66 feet (20m) tall with trunks 14 inches (35cm) in diameter. "
In my pursuit of rare an unique cacti, just wondering if any one may have this plant, & hopefully a few seeds, or might know of a seed house that may have them.
thanks

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately we are not in the same country & I can't receive plant material (as in cuttings etc) only seeds are permitted. Thanks again.

Small Brasilopuntias are fairly common the garden center trade (at least in Europe) so it should not be too difficult to find.

OK, if you're in Australia/NZ: check that it's not restricted due to being an invasive species (not a risk in Europe :-))
