Hi Frank,

Yes, here's a photo of my Eriosyce seedlings: https://imgur.com/a/o6aoVJB
Sorry for my phone camera. Its quality is not very good and this was the best picture I could take. The dots were only on one seedling at first and very faint. Then more seedlings got dots and dents in them. I think I see red dots developing on my other seedlings too...
A few hours ago I soaked the pots in 3% hydrogen peroxide and water. And I poured 3% hydrogen peroxide over the seedlings

and the coahuilense. Hope you can see the red dots. I'm extracting the seedlings that have the dots

G'morning box,

I thought seedlings you described were larger than that on photo.
I believe they are kept in high humidity environment.
There is no red spider mite attacks in high humidity environment.
I have never experienced this type of problem.

I do not use any chemicals for 1 year after seed germination.

Hi Frank,

Thank you very much for your help. Yes, they are still seedlings. I will try to save them but I'm not hopeful. And again, your asterias are absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing them!

Many asterias potted in 8 cm square pots had been tight.
I selected 24 and prepared for the repotting.

Selected 24 asterias

Asterias removed from pots
Roots have grown too much and have to cut before the repotting.

Although asterias grow slowly, you need repotting when a plant was tight against to a pot.
I have to repot quite many asterias in this spring.
Because of that, I expect the space problem of my small greenhouse, where matured asterias are kept in there.
Seedlings sown seed in 2013 were also kept in the small greenhouse but I moved them into the large greenhouse in this morning.

The photo is asterias in the large greenhouse after added 2013 seedlings.
There are 302 seedlings in total, 178 of 2012 sown and 124 of 2013 sown.

Your echinopsis on the bottom left seems to be quite happy. What is it? It seems to have too many ribs to be oxygona/eyriesii

G'evening oriky,

I do not know age of your seedlings but seedlings start to show the character at specific ages.
You have to wait until that ages.

e.g.
Super kabuto: 1 year old
Hanazono kabuto: more than 5 years old

If you could post photos, I can tell you.

G'evening Elie,

The cactus you mentioned is a hybrid so called "Lobiopsis".
It is in flower daytime and the colour of flower is light pink.

I used seedlings of H. jusbertii as grafting stocks before.
To get seeds of H. jusberii, you have to pollinate with pollen of Echinopsis related species.

Since Lobiopsis could make more pollen than Echinopsis, I kept this hybrid.

I selected smaller 12 ones from asterias posted on 21st in this month.
They were repotted in 9 cm square pots, 1 size up in this morning.
Remained 12 have to go to 2 sizes up, 10 cm square pots.

The photo is repotted 5 miracle kabutos and 7 super kabutos.
