I repotted the seedlings. I needed to use two wide pots to place that over 100 pcs of seedlings.

On May 21 I had these two favorites. One was dark, and another one was unusual.

Seed source:
I bought seeds from others originally but I have kept enough matured plants to collect seeds by myself.
They are in a small greenhouse, asterias only.
All of them are propagated from seeds by myself.

Sown seeds in August 2015:
I sow seeds in August every year, when is the early spring in here.
Pots are 10 cm square.

1 year old seedlings are repotted in 10 cm square pots, 25 seedlings each.

Seedling shown the character of cultivars are only selected and repotted into 5 cm square tubes.

Good ones are selected again and repotted into 6.5 cm square pots.
They have reached the flowering age.

Hallo frank I have read this threads and comment so usefull, btw can you explain more technic for sowing small type seed ?

can you explain more technic for sowing small type seed ?
Do you mean smaller size seeds than asterias seed?
Smaller seeds including Ariocarpus are same as asterias.

Seed of Strombocactus is very small and I use a special technic. Please let me know if you wanted to know it.
