Are the scented?
There are more cacti in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

They smell like heaven. Sort of like vanilla.

My nipples are blooming!

The first bloom of the Mammillaria prolifera seed I sowed two years ago with several more buds to come. Actually these are the offsets from the plants that grew from seed that I had knocked off. The others are on a different shelf and haven't budded yet. I'm guessing the occasional exposure to the room lighting at night interferes with flower development.

It's always a beautiful day when the prairie prickly pears (Opuntia macrorhiza ?) are in bloom.

The Echinopsis huascha seedlings grew quite a bit in their first season.

The Stenocactus are getting some of their first brain wrinkles now in the second season.

That's beautiful! What diameter is the pot?

It's in an 8 inch pot. The flowers themselves are fairly small at less than an inch across.
