Propagation Ariocarpus fom seed
Re: Propagation Ariocarpus fom seed
Seedlings are in 5 cm square tubes which height is 14 cm.
These tubes are self-standing but they are not secure enough to stand.
Tubes stand on the pad and wire mesh supports tubes.

Re: Propagation Ariocarpus fom seed
I have kept too many Ariocarus seedlings.
The photo is Ariocarpus retusus v jermilae sown seeds in 2012.
They are never repotted since the germination. I have to repot them in September.

Re: Propagation Ariocarpus fom seed
I prepared to repotto Ariocarpus seedlings in this morning.
Seedlings are bravoanus sown seeds on 17th July 2014.
12 seedlings of them were grafted in 2015. All others were kept in the pot without repotting.
This is 1st repotting for these seedlings.
Seedlings in a 10 cm square pot, before the removing
Removed seedlings on pads
25- larger seedlings
47-smaller seedlins
Seedlings trimmed fine roots
Since fine roots are trimmed, repotting will be a few days later.

G'morning Edwin,
Since almost all seeds are harvested from my cacti. I give number to seed for the recording history of seedlings.
I started the recording in 2003 and added every year. Current numbers are 1~48.
No. 12 is Ariocarpus bravoanus.
Frank

G'morning ana.alidio,
Since new off-shoots of Pereskiopsis are available in October in here, I sow Ariocarpus seeds in July to meet the grafting schedule.
Frank
In the case of Ariocarpus, 2~3 months after germination.at what age of seedling do you graft on persekiopsis?
