I moved out seedlings of strombocactus disciformis form Wet-box three days ago.
Seeds were sown on 1st Nobember 2018 and repotted once in 2020. They were returned to the wet-box after repotted.
Seedlings are in the Wet-box 4 years in total.
I selected 100 seedlings during repotting but I losed 8 seedlings.
The largest seedling is 15 mm in diameter

I wii select 70 seedlings and repot them after they met to normal greenhouse climate.

I repotted two degrafted Ariocarpus fissuratus v intermedius in this morning.
They have off-sets which pushed pots out. It is the reason of repotting.

I bought 50 seeds and sowed in 2005. 22 have survived and all of them are flowering size. The growing result is not bad at all.

One of them shows a different appearance from others. It may be a hybrid with a pectinatus because I can see centrelines on tubercles.

1st photo: Possible hybrid, one of off-sets is variegated.
2nd photo: Standard intermedius

G'morning Alejandro,

Thanks for your comment.
you don't consider it a Star shape?
Yes the body shape is starfish. I did not mentioned about the body shape. Some people think starfish shape is "special" but I do not.

The original super kabuto was round but miracle kabuto kabuto was starfish.
Some one mixed super kabut and miracle kabuto years ago and so some of my super kabutos have starfish shape.

The body shape, starfish have transferred to hanazono kabuto also.

My miracle kabutos show the original body shape which is starfish.

Three thelocactus heterochromus were in flower yesterday. I think flowers are bit small because of lower temperature in this year.

The photo is a two years old Ariocarpus hybrid, retusus v furfuraceus cv Suguri cauliflower x fissuratus cv godzilla.
I wanted to see the result earlier and 24 seedlings were grafted 2 years ago.

unfortunately just one of 24 shows both species characters, which is shown on the photo.
The current size is 5cm in diameter.
