Well grown E. horizonthalonius!
Re: Hana's cacti
G'morning Tom,
Thanks for your comment.
Actually 20 more younger seedlings are also growing. I repotted them into 6.5 square pots last year.

Young strombocactus disciformis were in flower. Short pereskiopsis stocks have still attached them. They rely on stocks.

Re: Hana's cacti
Two photos show 40 Ariocarpus seedlings in total. They are in 6.5 cm square pots.
Ariocarpus seedlings grow slowly but they grow continuously. I water between walls of pot and cactus but it is not easy with current situation.
I have to repot them into 8.5 cm square pots which is additional job for me.

Re: Hana's cacti
I selected 24 Ariocarpus seedlings posted yesterday and removed from 6.5 cm square pots.
Roots were trimmed to meet new pots depth. Roots length after trimmed is 6.5 cm and now pots are 8.5 cm square pots.
Roots were developed well in old pots and they were not easy to remove from pots.
I will repot all of them, 40 in total from the above reason.

Re: Hana's cacti
Ariocarpus seedlings posted on 16th September were repotted into 8.5 cm square pots.
12 more were added actually and so I repotted 36 in total. The photo is 12 of them, after repotted.

Re: Hana's cacti
Frank, do you know what pollinates the Aloe's? Not sure if you have Hummingbird's down there, but I'd be pretty sure they'd get to them up here.

Re: Hana's cacti
G'morning Jerry,
There are small birds called New Holland Honeyeater around here. I saw the bird on Aloe's flowers yesterday afternoon.
I think the birds pollinate Aleos in here.
Three Australian native shrubs are also in frontyard, which have nectar in flowers. I planted them for bringing birds to frontyard.

I have never seen any Hummingbirds in Australia. I think they have not reached yet Australia because of too far.do you know what pollinates the Aloe's? Not sure if you have Hummingbird's down there,

At my place (a bush block), we have many species of honey eaters, but I only noticed 4 species on Aloe flowers before, that's the New Holland Honeyeater (Phylidonyris novaehollandiae) as you mentioned; also the beautiful Eastern Spinebill (Acanthorhynchus tenuirostris), Red Wattlebird (Anthochaera carunculata), and Little Wattlebird (Anthochaera chrysoptera). Maybe there are others I haven't noticed yet.

G'day Bryan,
I checked 3 birds which you mentioned. Unfortunately I have never seen all of them. I will record birds which come to my place.

Re: Hana's cacti
I repotted one cactus after lunch today, which is shown othe photo.
It is an Ariocarpus fissuratus. Since the cactus is degrafted one, it is not small, 15 cm in diameter.
