I have continued to repot and relocate cacti in the greenhouse.
The photo is bench 3 which has been completed my job. Cacti are mainly myriostigma related species.

Hi Frank!
Always good to see your beautiful plants. Still have lots of lovely colouration.
In the bottom right tray, there are two with unusual colouration with pyramid shape, is there any reason for that shape?

G'morning Bryan,

Thanks for your comment.

Yes the shape shows unhealthy situations of these two.
I removed these two from pots in this morning. They were set for the rooting last summer. It seemed the development of roots was very poor. I could see some roots but they were just bit. I repotted them and will continue to watch the result.

I bought small plants of Astrophytum coahuilense in 2003. They have survived and grown well.
5 of them were repotted last year and 3 in this week.
Unfortunately one had roots problem and I could repot only two. I cut lower part of problem one and prepared to reroot.

An astrophytum myriostigma was in flower three days ago.
It was the first flowering of myriostigma in this spring. Since the pot was tight, I repotted this one yesterday.

I bought seeds of Geohintonia mexicana and sowed in 2006. Unfortunately just two were germinated. I grafted two seedlings onto permanent stocks.
One of scions formed many off-sets and I grafted them onto Pereskiopsis stocks. They were degrafted and rooted later, in total 15 scions.

6 of them were large enough and I repotted them yesterday. New pots are 12.5 cm square.

I watered 24 cacti shown on the attached photo in this morning.
Almost all cacti in my place were propagated from seeds except these 24. I bought small plants in 2003.
I lost quite many by various reasons but they have survived.

Rain started 8:00 am in this morning and it has continued. I can not do things in my backyard today.
I repotted 18 ariocarpus retusus related species two days ago. New pots are 12.5 cm square.

Rain stopped yesterday evening. I repotted two degrafted Ariocarpus in the evening.
I water into a space between cactus body and pot wall but it becomes hard if the cactus grew too much.
These two were in 12.5 cm square pots but it was not easy to water. New pots are 20 cm in diameter.

I took photos of Astrophytum hybrid species in this morning. Unfortunately sunlight in this morning was not strong enough and so they could not open flowers.

Two astrophytum hybrids were in flower yesterday.
Both of them are capricorne x red flowering asterias but photo 1 failed to transfer red colour of flowering from asterias.
