Echinocereus and Gymno ?

Post by CactusMad »

Hi all,I have 2 new cacti for I.D.Iv'e searched all over but can't find exactly what they are.I think one is an Echinocereus and the other a gymnocalicium but which i have no idea. They might not be able to be identified without flowers but someone might know just by looking so i thought i would ask and see.

The first one looks like Stetsonia coryne.

Gymno does look like a G. Baldianum - they have beautiful flowers by the way. Yours looks pretty small.

He is what the flower will look like. Mine is in bright shade most of the day (raised outside on patio) but does get 2-3 hours of full sunlight.
