Hello, fellow members.
I started growing cacti nearly a year ago and they quickly became my favorite plants. I'm hoping to network with growers in similar climates and also share experiences, tips, and advice with other forum members. I'm sure that I can glean a great deal of knowledge from the experienced growers, and hopefully I'll be able to help someone out as well. Feel free to reach out to chat with me any time!

Hello and welcome
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.
I DONT MIND

Welcome! Your climate still beats mine.
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

Hi Megan and welcome to the forum.
Re: Hello out there!
Hello Megan,
I also welcome you to the cactus and succulent forum. Unfortunately, I live in El Paso, Texas in a desert environment and my plants are all outdoors in the ground. For this reason I will not be able to give you the best advice for problems that you may encounter at your location.
However, there are a good number of cactus growers on this forum, who cultivate their plants in pots and may have a similar climate/growing environment as you do.
