The Forum has been inaccessible to me via the usual URL link for several days now. It appears to me that there is a problem with the PHP coding that facilitates the “front end” loading of CactiGuide.com (it might also be a DNS problem). PHP is a very demanding scripting language that does not tolerate imprecision (I know, because I frequently employ it on the server side for some of my web pages). I thought the “back-end” coding might be OK - and that proved to be the case, so I have been using http://www.cactiguide.com/forum/viewfor ... 5b1c280860 to access and use the Forum during this normal accessing problem period - that is how I am able to post this message at this time.
It is a lonely (eerie) place here right now - it appears that just 7George (who is also accessing the Forum using a “back door” link) and myself are using the Forum at present.
This may come in handy in case this access problem occurs in the future
