Hi all! Today I’ve started taking some of my seedlings out of their ziplock bags. I usually take them out fairly quickly after germination but this time I’ve been leaving them as long as possible and honestly the results are so much better.
I don’t know what to do with my Astro Super Kabutos! I can’t attach a photo with my phone because of the image size, but they are currently the size of a rubber on the end of a pencil, maybe 0.5cm across... would you leave them a bit/lot longer or would you take them out now? I don’t really mind losing a few of most species but I really don’t want to lose any of these guys (I know I shouldn’t pick favourites but...)
P.s as an added bonus, I have the same predicament with my melocactus. I know they do better with humidity but how long do you leave them sealed? Mine mostly all have a few tiny spines now but the plants are still quite small, about 0.3cm across.
Thanks!

As long as they are not rotting it's safe to leave them in the bag.
