Help With an ID

Post by don »

I've tried to get an ID on this one several times in past years but now that it has bloomed maybe an ID will be possible. Any ideas? the plant is 5 1/2 in. tall (minus spines)
Thank you

Maybe a parodia from the core species?

Until I saw the flower I was sure this was a Thelocactus bicolour of some kind, but the flower is not only the wrong colour but also the wrong shape/size.

Maybe Parodia aureicentra?
