I thought it would be fun to have a thread for people to post anything they've accumulated that features cacti. It could be anything--clothing, decor, tableware--anything that expresses your love for the cactus!

Yesterday, I found these cute mugs at a reasonable price. They seem so perfectly appropriate for me "stay away from me!"
Plus, I have a plushie cactus from Ikea on the sofa.

I have been planning to make some cacti themed art objects myself, but for the time being my time is devoted to caring for all of my plants as their number tops the two hundred and fifty and I am a newbie to think! lol But I love cacti themed projects, more DIY focused at the moment.

That cactus artwork gets cuter every time I look at it

Because I currently have way too much time on my hands, I cut out a cactus shape and sewed it on the back of one of my plain black abayas. It looks terrible because I don't have a machine here -- but I feel that just makes it look more punk rock haha

I'd really like to participate to this thread but the only cactus related stuff i have are cacti
Btw i thought you can wear whatever you want inside the compound or do you have to always wear a hijab and stuff? Oh well, everyone's tanning together here

And I think you're right about compounds, but I don't live in one, (my fiance is Saudi, so work wasn't my main/only reason to come--we just live in a normal house) so I tend to wear full hijab when I go out. I did always wonder why black has always been the color in vogue here though, being the hottest color of all Haha!

Actually me too! While what you describe is a very (very) rare sight in Lebanon, when i see someone dressed like that, theyre usually like that from top to bottom in matt black fabric.
