Outdoor protection - sclerocactus

Hello - I am trying to find anyone that might have experience growing Sclerocactus nyensis. I was able to get three seedlings to grow from seed #SB1456. I have put them out in the garden here in Denver, CO. I wanted to find out if anyone else is growing them and any additional protection that is provided especially during the winter. Thanks.
