Hi everyone!
I wanted to share some pics of a little 10'x12' Greenhouse I've been working on for the past year. My partner and I were able to make a lot of progress this summer and finally got the roof, door, and windows installed this week. Today I set up some makeshift benches and moved some of the plants in! Most of our 'special' plants are still inside under lights since it's been raining a lot and without walls, a lot of rain can still get into the pots. We live in North Carolina, so hopefully this little greenhouse will solve our problem of too much water in the summer and keep things warm in the winter.

The roof is Solexx panels - I know this question has been asked here before, but has anyone used Solexx? I feel worried that not enough light will get through. The website says 70-75% light transmission, which I guess is enough?? I've used 30%-50% shade cloth before and had good results, but I'm second guessing whether we should use it on the sides as well, or try to find something more clear... One nice thing about it is that my partner works at a garden center that carries Solexx so with his discount we can get it for almost half price.

Anyways, here are the pics - as I finish things up and start organizing plants (fun!) I'll post some more!

Your greenhouse looks awesome and you have a beautiful collection there. Unfortunately, I can't help with the Solex question. Do keep us posted on the progress!

It was a company I found online called EZ Frame up. We went with them because they had lots of size options and the joints came with cut lists for pretty much any size you wanted to do. It seemed like an easy option and I'm in grad school so I didn't have time to design something from scratch. I'm not super impressed with the joints, though. They are plastic, and even though they feel sturdy, they have a lot of flexibility, and the structure has need A LOT of stabilizing and anchoring, and extra steps to make sure it's secure...
