So in Mexico City is it considered spring now?

Re: today's flowering
It is above the equator, so if there will be spring or autumn, it will be autumn. But I reckon it will feel like summer most of the year (if not too high up above sea level)?
Re: today's flowering
hello mikethecactuschico
I show you the temperatures of the week, next Monday they will drop, a sign that
the cold is approaching, that here they are not very strong ... there are another
2 mammillarias that are about to give flower
Aiko
the height of Mexico City is 2240 meters above sea level ... the temperature is
attractive in that in summer it is not so hot and in winter very cold days are few,
a blessing of the weather
greeting

Hello dinfelu,
your Mammillaria cacti are doing well. That Mammillaria bombycina will look really good with the two blossoms. Even without them, the plant is an interesting looking species, because of the neat spines.
My year has most likely come to a close, as far as having any more cacti in flower. This week we did have rather odd weather. While it was unseasonably warm all of the month of October, the temperature suddenly fell drastically. We ended up having the first frost and it was sleeting!
My Ariocarpus plants were sitting in their pots, surrounded by the white stuff.
I do have two Pecan nut trees, which still do have green leaves. One of them is just now starting to open the husks. This morning I did go out and did find a number of those nuts that had fallen off the tree. However, most likely, they did not do this "voluntarily". Twelve of the nuts had holes in them, thanks to the work of the saddle-backed woodpeckers! I call these little thieves "nutpeckers" instead.

hello harald
some mammillaries are giving flowers, which surprises me a bit because the temperature
at night is already somewhat cool
I hope your ariocarpus are without problem due to the drop in temperature
the last time it snowed near home was in 2014, nice spectacle to see the mountains
covered with snow at the top ... normally this lasts 1 day and the snow melts

Re: today's flowering
Plants can continue their bloom if in a sunny spot indoors but often changing the place might prevent flowers to open. I thought people in Mexico keep their potted cacti outside.

If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.
