Hello dinfelu,
do your Rhipsalis cacti stay outdoors all year long? Most likely, it is easier to grow them than those "desert cacti", because they may be able to tolerate more water and also a more organic kind of soil. My now retired entomology colleague used to have a Rhipsalis plant in his office, which did pretty well for a good number of years. It was most likely the same species as the one with the yellow flowers you do have growing at your place.
One of them produces a whitish fruit, which looks similar to misletoe berries.
Isn't it kind of unusual for those cacti to be flowering in winter? I did have a good-sized Ferocactus latispinus, which tried to bloom during the months of December through January. Most of the time the flower buds were aborted, because it was just too cold for them to fully develop and open.
I did have several years though, where the cactus did produce its dark pink, almost purple, mid-sized flowers. :)

Thank you for sharing Dinfelu :) The pic of the blooming H.salicornioides brings back memories..I had one about four decades ago and it bloomed, small wonder since it didn’t get to much light.

Hello Harald

I have a good part of emis rhipsalis hanging on a plum tree, now the tree has no leaves but in the spring when it fills with leaves they protect the rhipsalis

what surprises me a lot is that some are blooming a few days of winter
