Any mushroom growers?
Re: Any mushroom growers?
No idea what type but they're interesting. Didn't know you were in Saudi Arabia, I guess they find a way to grow almost anywhere

Re: Any mushroom growers?
Haven't got the slightest clue as to what these are but they only come up after light rains in cedar forests at high altitudes. All i know is they are delicious with butter, eggs and minced meat...way better than the bland crap in the market. Even though they are the only mushrooms that grow in this area in the ground (as oppsed to trunks) i never ever go looking for these alone without an expert. I volunteer as a first responder and i've seen what eating a wrong mushroom can do to you...not a fan. The guy picked a golden looking mushroom and for some reason thought it was psilocybe. So yeah eat the weird looking mushroom because why not?

I'm sure there's plenty of psilocybes growing in the forest around here but I wouldn't risk eating them.. I messed around with that a bit in high school but I think I'll stick to the grocery store mushrooms for now. Here's my phoenix oysters on brown rice flour cakes, they're looking pretty good. It'll probably only be enough for one pot of curry but they're lots of fun to grow.
