Is this rot?

Post by Sandra_75 »

How can you tell if a Lithops is rotting?

The double that was attached to this one ended up rotting. I cut it off and this is what I have left. This one is firm still.

What to do?

It looks OK as of now
I've had many Lithops with one head rotting off and the other head staying strong

But you never know, it could just be holding off rotting this week and could rot later.

Kinda a pain not knowing. Ive a Split rock for almost 4 months that I called a Statue because it never changed. The baby leaves were always same small size. And 3 weeks ago, i decided to water and poof, took a week and water started forming in the middle.
