Propagating Echeverias from leaves.

Post by Bonsai2 »

I am currently propagating Echeverias from leaves and this is my first attempt.

They sit in an outside unheated porch which is joined to the house with a minimum 5C temperature in the winter.

Is this temperature too cold for propagation?

Many thanks

Yes, it’s probably too cold, at least for the next few weeks. If kept dry, they will very slowly shrivel up, but as it gets warmer as spring arrives, they may start to root and grow leaves, so there is no need to change anything.
Spring is the best time for leaf cuttings.
